President Tinubu Meets Regional Development Commissions, Picks NDDC for Special Commendation
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Monday, 10 November 2025, held a crucial meeting with the Minister of Regional Development, Engr: Abubakar Momoh, the Minister of State, Uba Maigari Ahmadu and the leadership of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, as well as that of other Regional Development Agencies.
At the meeting, which took place at the State House, Abuja, the performance of the NDDC took the highlight, as President Tinubu singled out the leadership of the Commission for positively turning around the situation in the Niger Delta region and accelerating development in the oil-rich region.
The President’s reaffirmation of the positive impact of the NDDC will reinforce the dedication of the Board and Management of the Commission to delivering tangible results for Niger Deltans.
The meeting of the President and the chairmen and chief executives of the seven regional development commissions was a platform for constructive engagement to align all efforts with the President’s renewed commitment to advancing balanced and sustainable development across all regions of the country.
