Prof. Afolabi Joins Tourism Vanguard for Tinubu as Strategy Director
Renowned tourism scholar, Isolaowa Afolabi, has endorsed the political marketing strategies of the Tourism Vanguard for Tinubu (TVT), commending the movement’s operational structure and leadership framework ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Prof. Afolabi, who reportedly expressed confidence in both the “scalar and vector quantities” of the group’s political marketing strategies, also hailed the efforts of the Core and Periphery Working Committees as well as the various directorates driving the movement’s activities.
In a statement issued by the National Central Working Council (NCWC) of the TVT Movement, the group described the professor’s endorsement as a major boost to its campaign for the advancement of Nigeria’s tourism sector under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The statement, signed by Hon. Apata Samson Nunayon, noted that the movement and its members across Nigeria and in the diaspora warmly welcomed Prof. Afolabi’s decision to support the initiative and contribute his expertise to the development of tourism-driven national policies.
According to the group, Prof. Afolabi’s “insightful acknowledgment of the strategic direction, operational structures, and political marketing framework of the movement” has further strengthened its resolve to deepen support for the administration’s tourism development agenda ahead of 2027.
The organization also announced his appointment as Director of Strategy and Policy, expressing confidence in his experience and leadership capacity to advance the objectives of the movement.
The statement further acknowledged the roles of the National Patron, Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku, and the National Matron, Hannatu Musa Musawa, in promoting the vision of the TVT Movement.
TVT said it remains committed to policy-driven engagement, national mobilization, and the promotion of tourism as a critical pillar for economic growth and national development under the Renewed Hope vision.
