Topic: THE NECESSITY OF THE WORD OF GOD
The Word of God is necessary to the child of God the way fresh milk is necessary to a new born baby.
SCRIPTURE: As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 1 Peter 2:2
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Word of God is necessary to the child of God the way fresh milk is necessary to a new born baby.
It has been confirmed that the Word of God is a vital necessity for the growth of the child of God. The Word of God is key to the growth of the child of God in all areas of life and destiny. This is why the Bible makes it clear that as new born babies, we should desire the sincere milk of the Word of God so we may grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2).
This means, the Word of God is necessary to the child of God the way fresh milk is necessary to a new born baby. In other words, just as a new born baby cannot do without milk, the child of God cannot do without the Word of God. This implies that whatever is the outcome of a new born baby without milk would be the outcome of a child of God without Word. Whatever happens to a new born baby without milk is what would happen to a child of God without the Word of God. If the new born baby has no destiny without milk, it means the child of God has no future without the Word of God. This is how important the Word of God is to the child of God.
Beloved, make up your mind to study the Word of God consistently and practice it always.
Remember this: The Word of God is necessary to the child of God the way fresh milk is necessary to a new born baby.

2. Resist every form of apathy to the study of the Word of God.

Thank You Lord for opening my eyes to see the necessity of Your Word in my life and destiny. I receive the grace to desire, study and obey Your Word Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
