1. 19 OF THE 132KV TOWERS THAT COLLAPSED HAVE BEEN RE-ERECTED OVER 3 WEEKS AGO.

2. RESTRINGING WORK ON THE 16 TOWERS ALONG AHOADA-OKOGBE AXIS AND 3 AT IGBOGENE ARE 100% COMPLETED

3. THE 29-31 TOWERS LINES THAT WERE HEALTHY BUT WERE VANDALIZED LAST WEEK HAVE BEEN HANDLED AND EVERYTHING IS PERFECT NOW.

ALL WORKS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.

• NEXT LINE OF ACTION

1. JOINT PATROL/INSPECTION OF THE COMPLETED LINES (WORK) BY THE TEAM FROM BAYELSA STATE ELECTRICITY COMPANY LIMITED AND THE TRANSMISSION COMPANY OF NIGERIA (TCN). THEY WILL MOVE ALONG THE LINES FROM AHOADA TO IGBOGENE TO RECONFIRM AND CERTIFY THE JOB WELL DONE.

2. COMMISSIONING/POWERING OF LINE. THE MOMENT THE INSPECTION IS DONE, THE LINES WILL BE POWERED IMMEDIATELY.

• TIME TO EXPECT ELECTRICITY/POWER IN BAYELSA STATE

ALL THINGS BEEN EQUAL, ELECTRICITY/POWER WILL BE RESTORED TO BAYELSA STATE HOPEFULLY WITHIN THIS VERY WEEK.

Here, we must give special honour, commendation and appreciation to Engr. Olice Kemenanabo, the Managing Director/CEO of Bayelsa State Electricity Company Limited for his unquantifiable sacrifices.

If majority of public servants can show this level of passion, fidelity, commitment, devotion and dedication to their principals and duty, we shall have a better society.

The biggest, greatest and most powerful Masquerades always come last during masquerade displays and dances.

Bayelsans and other residents and visitors are the biggest, greatest and most powerful Masquerades here and they deserve the highest Encomium and Appreciation for their understanding, patience and cooperation.

Finally, the days, weeks and months of waiting are over.

Cheerfully, what appeared as an ugly and painful experience has resulted to a positive omen.

The ASSURED PROSPERITY ADMINISTRATION has commissioned the building of a Brand New Independent Power Plant so that Bayelsa State can have uninterrupted Power.

We are marching towards a New Dawn. All the government need is your usual support.
