Bayelsa Agency For AIDS Control Gets New Boss, Temple Iluma

Report by Victor DeGreat – Temple Iluma returns as the new boss of the Bayelsa State Agency for the Control of AIDS, BYSACA.

Staff of the Bayelsa State Agency for the Control of AIDS, BYSACA were charged to be more proactive and diligent in the discharge of their duties in order to ensure that the agency achieve its mandate.

Director General of BYSACA, Dr Temple Iluma gave the charge during his first meeting with staff of the agency held at the Conference Room on the March 22, 2023 at SACA Administrative office in Oxbow Lake Road, Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.

Dr Iluma pointed out that all staff should properly maximize their skills, abilities and capacity in the various departments of the agency for continuous enlightenment on the prevention of HIV in the state.

He emphasized the need to be punctual at work and give the agency and responsible representation at programs and workshops within and outside the state.

The new DG cautioned all staff to shun all forms of bickering and any other social vices that would give the agency a negative image in the state.

While answering questions from staff, he gave assurance of his commitment to protecting the interest and welfare of all staff.

Also speaking, Head of Human Resource department, Mrs Abaiola Isaiah urged all staff to work in harmoniously for the progress of the agency.

On his part, Administrative Officer, Mr Smart Precious who spoke on behalf of all staff appreciated the DG for the meeting to clarify issues and promised to work effectively and efficiently.
