
Ex-Southern Ijaw Chair Floats Gen. Musa Group to Power Tinubu’s 2027 Bid
In Yenagoa, former Southern Ijaw Council boss, Chief Ebiki S. Faithful Hassan has given insight into the newly formed
“Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa (Retd) Support Group” backing President Tinubu’s 2027 second-term ambition.
Speaking with newsmen in Yenagoa on Tuesday, Chief Hassan stated that Bayelsa stakeholders see Gen. Musa is a symbol of discipline and national service as the right figure to galvanize support for continuity, peace, and development in the Niger Delta.
Chief Hassan said the group draws inspiration from Gen. Musa’s legacy of patriotism and national stability, and aims to consolidate security gains under the Renewed Hope Agenda while promoting national unity, peace, and security as foundations for sustainable development in Nigeria.
He informed that the support group was out to publicize the policies, programmes, and achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, carryout Advocacy on democratic continuity and good governance towards the 2027 general elections.
Engage in civic education, voter awareness, and peace-building across the six geo-political zones, mobilize professionals, youth, and women for issue-based political participation, and partner lawful bodies for community development, empowerment, and national cohesion.

It is convened to consolidate national security gains and advocate policy continuity under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“It is a well coordinated civilian-led coalition, inspired by Gen.
