Ned Nwoko Appeals to Regina Daniels’ Fans to Give Her Space, Threatens Legal Action Against Fake Reports
By Our Correspondent – Senator Prince Ned Nwoko has appealed to fans, friends, bloggers and social media commentators to give his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, space to focus on her health and recovery.
Nwoko made the appeal in a public statement, expressing concern over what he described as the circulation of false and disturbing reports about the actress, including fabricated death announcements and misleading stories about her personal circumstances.
He said Regina had been through difficult experiences that many people might not fully understand, stressing that she needed love, compassion and support rather than public criticism and condemnation.
According to the senator, the well-being of their children should also be considered, as they deserve to see their mother supported and given every opportunity to recover.
“The video she shared on her birthday gave people a glimpse of some of the health challenges she has been dealing with. As someone who knows what she has been through, I can tell you that this is not a time to judge, vilify or add to her burdens,” he stated.
Nwoko maintained that, irrespective of the difficulties in their relationship, Regina’s well-being had remained a major concern to him.
He added that his concern for her health was one of the reasons their private family issues became public knowledge.
The senator expressed particular displeasure over fake reports announcing the actress’s death and other publications allegedly spreading misinformation about her health and personal life.
He warned that such publications were not harmless attempts to generate social media engagement, noting that Regina sees many of the reports and finds them distressing.
Nwoko consequently urged her genuine supporters to discourage the spread of fabricated stories rather than amplify them for online attention.
He also issued a stern warning to bloggers and social media users deliberately publishing false information about the actress.
“Let me make this very clear: I will not tolerate the deliberate spread of false information about Regina, particularly fabricated reports about her death, health or personal circumstances,” he declared.
The lawmaker disclosed that publications considered misleading were being documented and warned that those found responsible would face appropriate legal action.
He insisted that Regina deserved the opportunity to recover without being subjected to repeated waves of false reports and unnecessary public scrutiny.
His appeal comes amid continuing public attention surrounding the relationship between the senator and the actress, as well as discussions about Regina’s personal and health-related challenges.
