No Voting by Proxy, INEC Warns Bayelsans
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Bayelsa state has announced that there would be no voting by proxy.
Head of Publicity and Voters Education Mr Wilfred Ifogha came out with this while speaking with newsmen in Yenagoa the Bayelsa State capital.
Mr Ifogha noted tthose registered, accredited and screened would be allowed to vote during the election.
He advised residents of the state to get their PVCS and ensure that they are present on the day of elections.
He emphasized that INEC officials would be present on the day of elections to assist every voter to vote properly adding that Bayelsans should work with INEC officials to ensure a free, fair and credible elections.
