For a Sick Child
St. Gerard, who, like the Savior, loved children so tenderly and by your prayers freed many from disease and even death, listen to us who are pleading for our sick child. We thank God for the great gift of our son (daughter) and ask him to restore our child to health if such be his holy will. This favor, we beg of you through your love for all children and mothers. Amen.

12Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion!
13For he strengthens the bars of your gates; he blesses your sons within you.Â
14He makes peace in your borders; he fills you with the finest of the wheat.Â
15He sends forth his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly.Â
19He declares his word to Jacob, his statutes and ordinances to Israel.Â
20He has not dealt thus with any other nation; they do not know his ordinances. Praise the LORD!
