And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. John 6:11-12.

So, you must make up your mind to thank God for the help He has shown you and your family members; there is always something to thank God for in your life. The more thankful you are, the more you will have what to thank God for. Thankfulness is one key that fills your “life tank” with the goodness of God. Thankfulness is a seed that produces fruit (results) and consequently, makes you to continuously thank God. When you plant the seed of thankfulness, you will not lack the things that will make you to keep thanking God.

My counsel is, continuously be on the lookout for the goodness of God in your life. Document them and thank God.

Remember this: The more thankful you are, the more you will have what to thank God for.

ASSIGNMENT:

1. Don’t allow your life tank to be empty of gratitude and appreciation to God.

2. Attract God’s goodness to your life by thanking Him every day.

PRAYER: Thank You LORD for showing me the Power of Thankfulness. I receive the grace to thank you in all seasons and phases of my life, O LORD, in Jesus’ Name.
