Senator Cleopas Empowers 300 Women and Youths in Bayelsa Central
Senator Moses Cleopas representing Bayelsa Central Senatorial district empowers over three hundred women and youths in his constituency with starter packs and take off grants to start their businesses.
Senator Cleopas represented by Apostle Peter Ogon gave the beneficiaries the grants after training them on basic skills noting that he would not toil with the human capacity building of his constituents.
“Today is remarkable, we have recorded some good progress despite the obstacles, God has been there to strengthen us to this day, we encourage you to make use of program so that at the end of the day, your dreams will be achieved”
Speaking on the topic “Engendering Sustainable Development among Women and Youths in Bayelsa Central Senatorial District: The Cultural Industry Option”, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, Professor Barclays Ayakoroma expressed satisfaction with the activities of Senator Moses Cleopas in his constituent adding that the training is suitable with the global trends.
“By cultural industry, I mean, industry that thrives on the production of goods and services that relate with the culture of the people”
He urged participants to judiciously make use of the skills they have acquired as he gave them tips on how to sustain the knowledge they had received.
