Top Female Leaders to Headline 4th Resourceful Woman Conference in Bayelsa
Some of Nigeria’s most influential female professionals are set to headline the 4th edition of the Resourceful Woman Conference, scheduled for December 4, 2025, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The conference, themed “Beyond the Obvious: Becoming More & Maximizing Potential,” will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers known for their expertise in leadership, finance, education, and enterprise growth.
Leading the panel is Dr. (Mrs.) Funke Adepoju, the Director-General of the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), who will deliver the keynote address. Renowned for her work in public sector leadership and institutional development, Adepoju is expected to speak on how women can expand their capacity and excel in evolving professional landscapes.
Also speaking at the event is Professor (Mrs.) Juliet Teibowei, Dean of Student Affairs at the Federal University, Otuoke. Teibowei, a respected academic and administrator, will share insights on purpose, identity, and building resilience—key themes for women navigating various societal expectations.
Personal finance expert Mrs. Tobore Olomoye will take the stage to address financial empowerment and practical strategies for maximizing income and long-term wealth. Her session will focus on helping women make informed, confident money decisions.
Rounding off the speaker lineup is Dr. (Mrs.) Edith Ozumba, a business growth and manufacturing consultant whose work has supported entrepreneurs across Nigeria’s industrial value chain. Ozumba will discuss scaling businesses, overcoming operational barriers, and positioning women for sustainable economic impact.
The conference is convened by marital bliss coach and media consultant Dr. (Mrs.) Doubra Timi-Wood, who will also unveil her new book, Mastering This Thing Called Marriage, during the event.
The gathering, which begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Jerry Century Event Centre in Yenagoa, is free but requires prior registration. Organizers say this year’s speaker lineup reflects their commitment to equipping women with the knowledge and tools needed to thrive beyond limitations.
