Ayade Emphasizes Need for Nigerians to Understand Security Challenge
The Cross River State governor, Prof Ben Ayade emphasizes the need for all Nigerians to understand the security challenges in the country as it is to be tackled by all.
Governor Ayade came out with this while speaking to newsmen in Lagos saying the security situation is a global issue that is beyond the capacity of the present administration and leadership.
He noted that terrorist groups such as Boko Haram and ISWAP now have international links which means their influence spreads beyond Nigeria.
According to the governor, ISWAP has much more capacity than the likes of Boko Haram with both targeting the mineral resources of the country.
He called on all Nigerians to be stakeholders with the government to tackle the menace.
