Bank Workers Lament Over Shortage of New Naira Note

Report by Grace Freeman – Bank workers in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital have lament over the shortage of the new naira note to meet their daily expenses.

A staff of one of the commercial banks in Yenizuegene-epie who pleaded anonymity noted that although they are working in the banks but they still find it difficult to access cash just like every other resident in the state.

Another bank staff noted that they receive very little amount from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN on a weekly basis where they are given very paltry sum which is not enough to take care of their daily needs.

They pleaded with residents not to unleash their frustrations on them as they are also facing the same difficulties on them as they are also facing the same difficulty.
