Nigeria to Supply Gas To Europe, Says Mele Kyari
The Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Mr Mele Kyari has announced that Nigeria is prepared to supply gas from Nigeria to Europe.
Mr Kyari stated this during his speech at the Atlantic Council, Global Energy Forum held in Dubai saying Nigeria is shifting away from dirtier fuel to cleaner alternatives and gas is the choice transition fuel.
Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva also told the delegation from the European union, EU that Nigeria is ready to offer it’s services as an alternative gas supplier to Europe.
The ministers call is coming on the heels of the war between Russia and Ukraine which threatened gas supply to European countries.
