And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour. And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also. And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Ben-oni: but his father called him Benjamin. And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem. Genesis 35:16-19

Beloved, can you see the consequence of taking what does not belong to you? Rachael died! Jacob and his family members had not yet reached the Promised Land, and Rachael ended her journey halfway. When a person takes what he is not meant to take; what he is not meant to take will take his life before his time. Beloved, the surest way to premature death and abortion of destiny is taking what does not belong to you.

REMEMBER THIS: When a person takes what he is not meant to take; what he is not meant to take will take his life before his time.

ASSIGNMENTS: 1. Refuse to die before your time; refuse to abort your destiny. 2. Refuse to take what is not legally yours.

PRAYER: Lord, deliver me from the spell of greed and covetousness. Help me never to be a partaker of curses that follow thieves, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
