When God declared through the mouth of His angels that Sarah would conceive and have a son, Sarah laughed within her heart. She simply could not believe that she still stood a chance of having a child, having gone past child bearing stage, and Abraham having become too old. She disbelieved God when her prophecy came, she made a mistake when her prophecy came, but the God of mercy caused her to receive her miracle regardless.

Friend, in seasons when you make mistakes that could hinder you, may the mercy of God speak louder than your errors. May the mercy of God not allow your mistakes to rob you of your next level. May the mercy of God not allow what you did not do right to stop you from advancing. May the mercy of God speak for you in moments when judgement is not in your favour. May the mercy of God give you more than you truly deserve.

Sarah made a mistake that could have hindered her miracle, but mercy covered her and against all odds, her miracle still came her way. Hear me as I hear the Lord: despite your errors, the will of God for you will not be scuttled. Despite your errors, whatsoever the Lord has destined for you will still come to pass. Despite your wrong handling of your miracle moment, God will show you mercy and cause His will to be performed in your life.

Even the bible would say that without faith, it is impossible to please God. So doubt is the direct opposite of what God desires to see in His own. Doubt is even an insult on God’s ability to do what He said He would do. Doubt is belittling on God. Sarah did all that could have belittled and discouraged God from coming through for her, but God still came through. I pray for you: may your mistakes not stop your time of visitation from God.

There will be times when you will do well, and even heaven expects you to do well; but in times when you are in error, may mercy speak for you.

James 2: 13 says: “For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.”

Declare With Me:

In my moments of error, mercy will speak louder than judgement, in Jesus’ name!
