The Tinubu/Shettima Independent Campaign Council, ICC have refuted the negative campaigns against its presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu saying there are all false.

The campaign council made this known while speaking to newsmen in Yenagoa saying that for the first time an Independent Campaign Council was set up to drive the campaign to the grassroots to complement the presidential campaign council headed by Chief Timipre Sylva saddled with the responsibility of organizing rallies in the various states.

They pointed out that this initiative would also help their party to achieve victory during the general elections in 2023.

Director of Finance and Administration of the Tinubu/Shettima Independent Campaign Council, Mr Joseph Fafi said the party’s candidate would improve on what President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has already done in various sectors of the economy.

He added that Asiwaju Tinubu as a democrat has the capacity to lead Nigeria to an enviable height.

“It takes a lot of planning and guts on the part of the present administration to ensure that Nigeria didn’t collapse, Tinubu is a democrat, he’s not taking chances, he wants the people to know that he has the passion to serve this nation. For this country to move forward, we need an experienced person, a person who has been in the corridors of power, who knows the problem, the mistakes made and how to correct them”

On his part, Secretary of the campaign council, Mr Eddy Julius called on interested support campaign groups to identify with the ICC for registration and training.

“Every support group that are ready to carry out campaign in respect of Tinubu/ Shettima should locate us, we would register them and give them training on how to go about it.”
