Zidebegha Calls for A Pragmatic Governor for Bayelsa State
Report by Victor DeGreat – Martins Zidebegha, a Yenagoa-based Nollywood filmmaker and director calls for a pragmatic governor that will not play lip service with the development of Bayelsa state as Bayelsans go to the polls to elect another governor on Saturday 11 November 2023.
Martins Zidebegha shared his thoughts on a special interview series produced by our sister organization, Reflector Television tagged The Governor Bayelsans Deserve on its first episode.
According to him, the character of the new governor of Bayelsa state should be a proactive, pragmatic and one who knows the yearnings and aspirations of Bayelsans.
Zidebegha, who is also the scribe of the Association of Movie Producers, AMP Bayelsa State chapter advocated for the development of the creative industry in the state as medium for job creation.
The renowned Nollywood filmmaker and director, Comrade Martins Zidebegha from Ekeremor Local government area of the state but resides in Yenagoa. He shared his thought and expressed his candid opinion on the pace of development in the state since its creation in 1996.
