
Bayelsa APC Non-Indigenes Congratulate New State Chairman, Pledge Support
YENAGOA — A delegation of Bayelsa State All Progressives Congress (APC) Non-Indigenes, led by their Director General, Comrade Bassey Mborah, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the newly elected Bayelsa State APC Chairman, Rt. Hon. Warman Weri Ogoriba, at his residence to congratulate him on his emergence as the party’s state leader.
The delegation, made up of prominent members of the non-indigene community within the party, described Ogoriba’s emergence as a positive development for the growth and unity of the APC in Bayelsa State.
Speaking during the visit, Mborah assured the chairman of the unwavering support and loyalty of all APC Non-Indigenes in the state, emphasizing their readiness to work closely with him and the entire state executive to strengthen the party’s structure.
He noted that the non-indigene community remains a vital part of the party’s support base and is committed to contributing meaningfully to the advancement of the APC across the state.
According to him, the group would continue to mobilize members and supporters while collaborating with the party leadership to ensure greater cohesion and progress within the APC in Bayelsa.
Responding, Rt. Hon. Ogoriba expressed appreciation for the visit and the show of solidarity, assuring the delegation of an inclusive leadership that would carry every stakeholder along in the task of building a stronger party in the state.
